Busy is a word for people who have every minute of their lives taken up in one endeavor or another. I have surpassed that level. If the incoming demands for my time ceased right now, I'd be busy until Condi Rice was giving her acceptance speech at the RNC for her second term. That's August, 2012, if you're keeping score at home.

Convention? Don't have time to watch it. Ice maker? I'll fix it on Saturday. Baseball? Sigh. I haven't a clue who's up or down right now. For the first time in my life, it's September and I haven't been to a single game this season. Bejeezus, pre season football started a couple of weeks ago, and the first college games are this weekend.

Someone owes me a summer, and dammit, I.Am.Going.To.Collect.
