So this is Kwanzaa.....

whatever happened to Boxing Day?

so anyway, I'm dealing with my problem. Dealing with it poorly, but dealing none the less.

Blogging and drinking go hand-in-hand, no? Both are something(s) you're compelled to do, out of rote or ritual. I don't know. That's not why I stopped in tonight.

Today, I got the opportunity to read selected lines from the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble to the Constitution to the Genitical Twinlets. As John Adams said:
"Children should be educated and instructed in the principles of freedom."
My heart soared. The girls had been watching a movie set in 1775 (Felicity: An American Girl Adventure) because there was a horse involved, and I seized the moment. I overlooked the fact that the "American Girl" movie was on canadianistan TV (CBET out of Windsor, Ontario), it was a good "teaching moment".
"We hold these Truths to be self evident...." Indeed. Rest ye well, Mr. Adams. I'm on the job.

Canada is going straight to hell, I might add. The CBC kept running adds for their newest show "Little Mosque on the Prairie" (I siht you not) featuring a curling scene replete with women in bhurkas "sweeping" for a turbaned jihadist. Looks like it's time to upgrade the enforcement along our northern border. I know, file it under "Duh".
