A troubling trend

what's the deal?

 

Why is it that Buffett's "A Pirate Looks at Forty" moves me to freakin' tears anymore?  I mean, I'm sitting here fat, drunk, and happy, and I hear that song and instantly I'm a blubbering drunk, weakly resisting the urge to call my fellow ParrotHeads and go into the whole "I love you, man" routine.

 

So if my number showed up on your Caller ID at 1:00 AM, please disregard.  I'll be much better in the morning.

 

If you were foolish enough to actually answer the phone, well then, you were foolish.  But it was good to talk to you anyway.
